Expense allowance:

In order to keep the organizational effort on the fight week as low as possible and to organize a smooth competition, the following changes must be reported by e-mail to betriebssportgemeinschaft@ble.de by July 18th at the latest:

• Change of disciplines (no late entry of additional disciplines)
• Change in weight class

If the report is made after July 18th or during registration, a expense allowance of 15 € per change must be paid.

Important instructions:

• All Tournament fees are non-refundable.
• If no assignment can be made, you may incur additional costs of 15 € when registering on July 27th-28th, 2023.
• If payment is not received within 72 hours, your registration will be considered invalid and you will need to register again.

1. Voluntary Application:
   I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in the Global Stick and Blade Alliance (GSBA) World Championships hosted by GSBA Germany e.V. and Betriebssportgemeinschaft der BLE e.V.

2. Assumption of Risk:
   I am aware and understand that in general, competition involving Eskrima, Kali, and Arnis martial arts are inherently dangerous and hazardous activities. I am voluntarily and of my own free will assuming all risks, of any nature, associated with this tournament with full knowledge, acceptance and understanding of the hazards involved.

3. Health Advisory and Condition:
   I hereby acknowledge and understand that participating in this event involves extremely strenuous physical activity and heavy physical contact, and that I have been advised to consult a physician before commencing and undertaking such activity. I hereby represent that, to the best of my knowledge, I am in good physical health and condition, sufficient to undertake this dangerous and hazardous competition. I agree that I will notify tournament officials if I am injured or become ill and not participate in the tournament if injured.

4. Medical Assistance:
   I grant permission, in case of injury, to have medical personnel at the tournament provide me with medical assistance or treatment for such injury. This treatment will be of “first aid” nature only and your injury may require you to seek additional medical treatment beyond that administered at the tournament.

5. Photo/Video:
   I further consent that any pictures, video or film furnished by me or taken of me in connection with this tournament may be used by the GSBA promoters or directors for publicity, promotions, or advertisement via social media, television, magazines or any other manner they may deem necessary. The undersigned specifically waives any intellectual property rights to those images or videos which would be taken during the tournament, waives any and all claims, of any nature, which might arise out of the use of these images and video by GSBA and also waives any and all compensation in regards to any images or videos.

6. No Involuntary Execution:
   I acknowledge that I have read this Release from Liability and I fully understand the meaning and importance of its contents. I release, in advance, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns and estate, any claim for liability against GSBA Germany e.V. and Betriebssportgemeinschaft der BLE e.V., as well as any participant, official, referee, coach, and staff from any claim for liability of any nature arising out of my participation in the tournament. I further agree to hold those entities and persons harmless and to indemnify them from any claim and agree to indemnify them, including for payment of actual attorney fees or costs of defense. I acknowledge that any claim involving my injury or death would be brought before the Bonn District Court under the laws of Germany, which is the only jurisdiction and venue in which an action may be maintained. I acknowledge that I have received good and adequate consideration for the purpose of executing this document and I agree that I have full legal capacity to be bound by this Release.
